No facilities or official signage on-site.

Part of the 'Blueberry Express' heritage route, it connects Cole Harbour to Lawrencetown. Distance markers are placed every kilometre.

Notes: The northern entry point for the Shubie Canal Greenway Corridor, providing access to the Lake Charles Trail. This 9.25km (one-way) section of the Trans Canada Trail is exceptionally flat and well-maintained, featuring crusher dust and paved surfaces. It connects Waverley to the main Shubie Park in Dartmouth, passing through the 'Deep Cut'—a 1400-metre hand-dug channel—and offering prime views of Lake Charles. The trailhead features a wooden bridge and ample parking for several cars.

Notes: A rugged 30km network consisting of four stacked loops: Pot Lake, Indian Hill, Bluff, and Hay Marsh. The trail traverses diverse ecosystems including coastal barrens, old-growth forests, and granite outcrops within the Blue Mountain-Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness Area. Hikers should be prepared for uneven terrain and varying weather conditions. Access is via the Beechville Lakeside Timberlea (BLT) Trail, approximately 500m from the parking lot.

This 9km loop (including the access trail) winds through high barrens and mixed woods, offering stunning views of Pot Lake and Cranberry Lake. Access requires a 0.5km walk from the parking lot along the BLT Rail Trail to the official trailhead.
