Texas
always fascinated me when I was younger. After my family
grew some, we traveled to Texas for vacation. We had a great
time in San Antonio, Fort Worth and surrounding areas.

While
we visited the StockYards,
the ranch hands herded some Long Horn Cattle up the main
street. There was this one bull thou that scared a few people.
A few Ranch Hands where leading a herd through the old part
of town. Half way up one of the steers stopped, turns eyes
the people on the sidewalk. Those big horns are pretty impressive
and those kids (just off to the left) looked a little worried.
Inner
Space Cavern was also alot of fun to explore and learn
from. The kids had just as much fun as we, the adults did.
Some of the formations are very old and inspiring to look
at. Wart Hogs to Sabre Tooth Tigers where found in the bowels
of the cave. A must see.
While
we were in Texas, we went to Sea
World in San Antonio. There where alot of different
attractions and events to attend. The cost of admission
was definitely worth it. We also attended the Dinner
with the Whales and really enjoyed getting close look
at the Whales.
We
traveled on the River Tour (above) which is part of the
River Walk, which whines through San Antonio. They were
getting the routes ready for the Festival. I cannot remember
the name, but they have alot of floats that travel around
the route. There where chairs everywhere for people to sit
and enjoy the sights and sounds.
Maybe
you will be lucky enough to get the Mayor of San Antonio
to take you on the tour as we did. Well he said he was the
Mayor, moon lighting.
We
drove through Dallas. Met some of my on-line friends while
there. Most of the people we met where friendly and helpful.
Look
